Ever have one of those moments where you find a fantastic web page only to discover that its been around for years? It happened to me! Just the other day I was looking for a baby dress and sweater set and voila! I found Lolly's Crafty Crochet.
Lolly is Laura Tegg. She got her nickname from her husband and is mum to the beautiful Eleanor. You can find her story on Ravelry. Her designs have beauty and practicality. I could hardly contain my happiness at finding her designs. I took a look around Laura Tegg's blog. It has not been updated in about 4 years but the patterns she shares are great and so classic that they'll likely never go out of style. Her blog contains several really lovely designs you can find here. I enjoyed looking over the designs. I think you will too. :) Great ideas for gifts!! Lolly has a landing page here. The links send you to her older blog and to her Ravelry page. Lolly's Crafty Crochet has 33 designs available exclusively through Ravelry. From what I could find the patterns are free! I found a couple of patterns to put on my "favorites" list. My favorite patterns are those that suit babies and children so when I found the amazing Little Moll's Dress + Cardi Set I was thrilled. Its exactly what I need a whole set in one collection. Wonderful! Yes, Lolly's patterns are tested by other ravelers so no worries there. Do you and a loved one have the exact same phone? Tired of getting them mixed up? Well Lolly's Crafty Crochet has the perfect answer... Lolly's His and Hers cell phone covers! Super cute, a great way to use up little scraps of yarn AND practical. No more getting the phones confused. (and a whole lot cheaper than those covers at the cell phone store) And finally the penultimate collection for baby girls! A FREE, yes FREE, 6 pattern booklet that can be downloaded through ravelry. The book contains these patterns written in US terminology: Crocodile Stitch Baby Booties, Crocodile Stitch Baby Mittens, Gossamer Baby Blanket, Baby Cocoon and Little Pixie Hat, Little Moll’s Dress and Cardigan Set & Chunky Monkey Baby Cardigan. Its fantastic! Thanks so much to Lolly's Crafty Crochet for these free patterns. I want to encourage my readers to check out Lolly's Crafty Crochet and thank her for her free patterns. There's a facebook page too. The page has been quiet but some very cute items are on the page also. They really are lovely.
